With a rich history in Bakersfield, Houchin Community Blood Bank has saved thousands of lives since it originated in the 1940’s.
On average, 3% of our compassionate community’s members donate blood. If it weren’t for these individuals, Houchin’s services would cease to exist and our community would be in a desperate situation. We cannot thank our donors enough for their generosity and consideration of our community.
