Jonathan Bautista

"Jonathan Bautista brings over 30 years of extensive experience in blood banking to his role as CEO of Houchin Community Blood Bank. His career is marked by a series of impactful leadership positions, including his tenure as Chief Operating Officer at Stanford Blood Center and Executive Director of California Mothers Milk Bank. Jonathan has a proven track record of implementing programs that enhance operational efficiencies and drive revenue growth. His strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the future of the organizations he has served.

Before joining Houchin, Jonathan held key roles such as Client Development Director at Bonfils Blood Center, Sales and Marketing Director at LABS, Inc., and Vice President of Laboratory Marketing and Operations at The Blood Center. He is an active leader in the blood banking community, serving on the boards of the National Blood Testing Collaborative and Blood Centers of California. Additionally, Jonathan is a past Chairman of the CDPH Clinical Laboratory Technical Advisory Committee.

Jonathan’s academic credentials include a BS in Medical Technology from the University of Kansas, an MS in Organizational Leadership from Regis University, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University, underscoring his commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in the field of blood banking."
