Leonard Zasoski, Jr. has been married to his wife, Bety, for 41 years. Together, they have two sons, Andrew and Joseph, and are proud grandparents to their 3-year-old grandson, Arlo.
Leonard spent 44 years at Colombo Construction, where he rose to the role of Vice President of Construction Operations before transitioning to his current position as Assistant Director of Maintenance Operations and Facilities with the Bakersfield City School District.
Leonard’s commitment to giving back started in 1983, when he began donating blood while his father, Leonard Zasoski Sr., battled metastatic prostate cancer. His father, also a blood donor, passed away that year at the age of 57.
A 13-year prostate cancer survivor himself, Leonard is deeply involved in promoting awareness around prostate cancer screening and early detection, driven by his personal experiences and a passion for supporting his community
