For 75 years, Houchin Community Blood Bank has been the lifeline connecting local donors to local patients, providing critical blood products that support trauma victims, cancer patients, surgical procedures, and emergency care throughout Kern County.
To celebrate this milestone, we are proud to introduce our inaugural signature fundraising event: Gala to Give. Join us on September 10, 2026, for an elegant black-tie evening honoring our legacy and our future. This is more than a gala, it will be an evening where compassion, community and celebration come together for a cause that truly matters.
