Notice: In need of all blood types.

Give. Save. Repeat.

The O-Team is our program for Type O donors who are committed to giving more than once a year.
The average donor gives fewer than 2 times per year, but the need for blood never takes a day off. In fact, someone needs blood every 2 seconds. Joining the O-Team means you’re helping keep your community ready for the moments that can’t wait

Why The O-Team Matters ?

Because emergencies don’t run on a schedule.
When trauma happens, when surgeries need support, when patients are fighting for their lives, blood has to be available immediately. That’s why repeat donors are essential. The O-Team is our way of recognizing Type O donors who show up again and again.

Why Type O Donors Are Heroes ?

Type O blood is used more than any other blood type.
They keep the blood supply running.

O Negative: The Universal Donor
O negative is the universal donor in most emergency situations.
When someone’s blood type is unknown and there isn’t time to wait, O negative is often the safest option to use right away.

Bottom line: When seconds matter, hospitals rely on O negative blood

O Positive: The Next Hero
O positive is the most common blood type and one of the most frequently used.
It can be given to many patients, and it plays a huge role in supporting hospitals every day.

And thanks to lifesaving medical advances, some O positive blood may qualify as low titer, which can expand how it’s used in urgent situations.

What does “O Positive, Low Titer” mean?
“Titer” refers to levels of certain antibodies. When those levels are low enough, O positive blood may be considered safer for use in more situations, even when the patient’s blood type is still being confirmed.
That means more flexibility, more readiness, and more lives impacted, especially because O positive donors are so common.

If you meet the requirements of an O Positive, Low Titer donor, we will contact you to let you know.

Bottom line: O positive donors help us build strength in numbers.
