People in our community need blood transfusions to survive.

We know that new things can be scary. Donating with us doesn’t have to be. Houchin
Community Blood Bank is a local home-grown non-profit 501c3 organization that is
proud to be a trusted part of our community. We have been providing Kern County
hospitals and medical centers with blood, plasma, platelets and other life-saving
products since 1951. Let us earn your trust. We would be honored to meet with you and
explain the process of how easy it is to save lives and make a difference in someone’s
world. When you give, people live!

Medical professionals save lives

Some heroes wear scrubs, and they use donor blood, platelets, or plasma to help patients in hospitals and trauma centers. When they have the supply they need, they can save lives.
